SCRC membership is open to anyone who supports our mission of promoting recreational and competitive open water rowing in the Monterey Bay area.
Boat rental privileges are available to members in good standing who also meet the following requirements:
1. Current in Annual Dues and Equipment Rental fees.
2. Demonstrate competency in boat handling and rowing, as deemed by an SCRC-approved Instructor.
3. That the member reads and understands, and agrees to follow the SCRC Equipment Rental Guidelines.
4. That the member understands and agrees (in writing) that he/she is financially responsible for any damages that occur while the member is in control of the equipment (from the point of log-out until the equipment is logged in).
5. That the member has completed a US Rowing waiver for the current calendar year
6. That the member participates in 10 hours of volunteer activity during the membership year (April 1 – March 31st).
Annual Membership Rates, April 1, 2010-March 31, 2011:
Single $65/year
Family $90/year (2 or more family members)
Student $40/year
Equipment Rental - please contact an Instructor for a checkout or lessons if you would like to use Club Equipment
$10 per launch per seat
$60 for 10 launches (can be upgraded to 20 and pay the difference)
$105 for 20 launches (can be upgraded to Unlimited and pay the difference)
$175 Unlimited for the Season (great value - no need to track launches)
